High Concrete Group LLC recently completed the installation of architectural panels on a most unusual facade of the University of Cincinnati’s new Varsity Village Athletic Center. This project is one that blends art and engineering – and As part of the Cornerstone commercial development, this four level, 280,000 SF parking structure features a variety of unique design considerations which make this project visually stimulating yet economical. On the top level, 42” deep double tees support large planters with trees. The spandrels feature integrated hanging baskets on the exterior with vines cascading downward toward the ground level. A waterfall and fountain greet visitors at the entrance and a large limestone wall fountain anchors the opposite corner of the garage. Prestress Services Industries, LLC supplied over 620 pieces of structural precast for this garage.
