Hamilton Crossing Building VI
Carmel, Indiana

Gate Precast Company in Winchester, KY., provided the architectural precast concrete cladding on the six-story Hamilton Crossing Building VI and its adjacent parking structure in Carmel, IN. The building features a combination of two mixes; one featuring a crushed red granite while the other contained white and gray cement with a limestone sand and aggregate. A medium sandblast was applied to the panels.

The owner chose precast cladding because of the need for an accelerated schedule and their satisfaction with previous precast projects.

The parking garage was a Total Precast Structure. One feature of the garage was a 60’ long post-tensioned architectural precast spandrel over the entry.

Technical Notes: The project involved 42,680 SF of architectural precast panels. The office building had 445 pieces. The parking structure had 99 pieces
