Trammel Crow NE Inc. needed a stunning appearance for their new speculative office building outside Pittsburgh PA. An exterior of architectural precast concrete was selected to impress the perspective tenants and insure a top of the line appearance.

Marietta Structures of Marietta Ohio fabricated 39,200 Sq. Ft. comprised of 592 pieces of architectural precast. The panels were 8" thick of colored architectural concrete made from a blend of white and gray cement, pigments, black and buff aggregates. The panels were finished with a light and heavy sandblast to achieve two distinctive finishes for the panels. Granite medallions were added to the precast panels to accent the exterior facade.

Technical Note: By varying the thickness and shape of the precast panels prominent entryways were created to accent the building
