With the development of river property across from Cincinnati, Ohio in Bellevue, Kentucky, many restaurants are taking advantage of the river atmosphere.

To save money on land and create more parking space, these restaurants are building platforms that extend out over the steep river bank. Because of this steep incline contour columns on this project ranged from 3’ to over 25’.

Precast concrete was chosen to withstand various weather conditions, high, fast river currents, and the impact of heavy river debris.

Technical Notes: Buckhead’s platform was a combination of two concrete systems. The columns and beams utilized Poured in Place System and the floor used Hollowcore Precast Concrete Slabs.
