Concrete Technology once again teamed with developer Tipton Interest, Inc., Fru-Con Construction Corporation and design architect Cooper Carry along with Cincinnati architect KBA Architects, Inc. to help create a major Cincinnati suburban office building.

The Pictoria Island Office Building is an intriguing combination of architectural precast concrete shape, mixes and finishes. A exposed aggregate finish occurs at the first level panel bases. Most precast panels consist of a buff colored mix with a sandblast finish. At the main entrance, dimensional granite clad precast column covers highlight a covered entry.

The eight story, 272,000 square foot office building is served by an adjacent five story total precast parking deck (see above). Concrete Technology supplied the parking deck perimeter and ledger beams, along with the stair tower’s exterior walls, to Prestress Services, the parking deck’s structural precast sub-contractor. These precast components were designed to match the office building’s buff colored mix and finish.
